- Khaudom Gamepark ca. 70 km zum nördlichen Eingang des Parks; nur mit

Allradfahrzeugen möglich.

 

- Popa Falls, Mahangu-Park, ca. 1 Autostunde

 

- Tsodillo Hills in Botswana ca. 2 Autostunden

 

- Bootsfahrten auf dem Okavango (Krokodile, Flußpferde, Vogelbeobachtung, Angeln)

 

- Missionsstation Nyangana

 

- Exkursionen zu den Projekten von K.I.D.S. (Wasserversorgung, Kindergärten etc.)

 

- Kontakte zur lokalen Bevölkerung mit ihrer Lebensart und Tradition

 

- Gottesdienstbesuche an Sonntagen mit dem spezifischen Flair (Gesänge, Trommeln, Tänze)

 

 

 

The Kayova River Lodge offers many opportunities for trips, wildlife observation, and contact with the local people.

 

- Khaudom National Park, approx. 70 km to the northern entrance to the park; only possible with 4x4 car

- Popa Falls, Mahangu-Park, approx. 1 hour by car

- Tsodillo Hills in Botswana, approx. 2 hours by car

- Boat trips on the Okavango (crocodiles, hippopotamuses, bird-watching, fishing etc.)

- Nyangana Mission

- Excursions to the K.I.D.S. projects (water supply, kindergardens etc.)

- Contact to the local people and their customs and traditions

- Visiting religious services on Sundays with their specific flair (singing, drumming, dances)
